President’s message

“Metal Recycling Japan” and “Metal Recycle Monthly” are the only regular publications dedicated to the scrap metal industry in Japan. During the half-century since our foundation we have continuously monitored the changes in the scrap metal industry.

“Metal Recycling Japan” offers daily analysis of the scrap metal markets, while “Metal Recycle Monthly” provides mid-to-long term analysis and commentary.

In tune with the movement to create a recycling conscious society, we also publish articles about the recycling of packaging, electrical appliances and automobiles and we aim to report positively on recycling in its totality.

We consistently monitor the movements of scrap metal prices and changes in supply and demand. We also conduct surveys into the state of investment in equipment. The various statistics that we prepare are valued as reliable basic data and we have a good reputation both inside, and outside, the scrap metal industry.
